Advising a client on its proposed acquisition of 35% equity stake in the share capital of (Green Infrastructure and Power Plc) for the sum of US$2 Million, Five Hundred Thousand towards the the build and operation of the following power projects: i. 5 GW of the floating Solar PV Plant; ii. 440 Kva HVDC Submarine Power Transmission line; iii. 350MW BESS; and iv. Two units of 770 MW Solar PV Plant.

Advised Sumo Steels Limited on compliance with the ‘Eligible Customer Regime’ made pursuant to the Power Sector Reform Act 2005. This regime permits certain classes of consumers of power to approach generating companies directly for the purpose of purchasing power. Our scope of work included reviewing and negotiating a Power Purchase Agreement and drafting Bank Guarantees to designated financiers of the buyer, in line with the strict regulatory requirement of the regime.
